Providing Supervision to
LAC and LSW

A personalized approach.

I will meet you where you are.

That’s the simple part. The more complex part is to “unpack the baggage” so to speak.

  • What in the past is driving the present?

  • Are there any repetitions or patterns?

  • Is there any past trauma impacting today’ day-to-day?

These are the questions we will address as together, as we roll up our sleeves and dive into the muck. Sometimes you have to visit the muck to get to the other side.

My approach is like two people in a canoe. I am here to help steer the boat from the back as you do the paddling in the front. We are on the journey together.

About Me

My Approach

With an extensive toolbox, I tailor my approach to every individual’s needs. Every individual is different, and so is my approach to each client. I understand how hard reaching out can be. It can a daunting task to find the correct match in a therapist. I’m here to help. As a licensed clinical social worker, I’m trained to see the person in their environment as well as interpersonally. Let’s talk to see if we are a good fit.

My Background

I’ve wanted to help people for as long as I can remember. I earned my MSW from NYU and BSW from Marist College. I also trained at the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Study Center (PPSC) to further my knowledge, skills, and craft of therapy. I call it a craft, not an art, because we roll up our sleeves and get to work.

With over 25 years of experience as a therapist, I’m trained in psychoanalytic theories (object relations, relational and modern psychoanalysis) and interventions, as well as CBT and motivational interviewing. I also have a certificate in supervision and am available for private supervision to people with LAC and LSW licenses.

Change is scary and challenging. The laws of inertia tell us that nothing will change without an external force.

I am an empathetic, calming, and listening external force. I help clients work through complex problems to reach positive outcomes.
